Step 0: We have created an ACLS Prep Course which is optional. This will help you complete Steps 1 and 2 below with more ease and confidence. The course should take about 45 minutes to complete and goes over common questions asked in class with an emphasis on EKG cardiac rhythms and megacode.
Mandatory
Step 1: Have you completed the required AHA Precourse Self-Assessment? If not, this takes about an hour to complete. When completed be sure to print your results before exiting. Bring a PRINTED copy of the PSA Score to your class, digital copies are not accepted. Click on the following link to take the mandatory Precourse Self-Assessment.
Step 2: Have you already completed the ACLS online course? If not, the online course is a separate purchase for an additional $144.00 to the American Heart Association. As with the assessment above the certificate of completion must be a PRINTED copy, digital copies are not accepted. Please go here to purchase the ACLS ONLINE COURSE
Step 3: Bring PRINTED copies of both your Precourse Self-Assessment and the ACLS online course certificate of completion.
Providers will enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. This course emphasizes the:
• Importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival
• Integration of effective basic life support with ACLS interventions
• Importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation
The course includes simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader.
Cancellations and Refunds:Any refunds will result in a $15 (fifteen-dollar) fee. Refunds will be given if notification is received at least three (3) working days prior to class. If you do not show up or are late for a class you have 2 months to re-take another course at no extra cost. Please give us notice if you plan on re-scheduling so that we can reserve you a seat.
