How do I know which course to take?

   Healthcare Provider Course: Anyone can take this course, however if you are planning to work in the healthcare industry then you will need to take a healthcare provider course (no prerequisites).  The healthcare provider course is designed for:

      RN's, EMT's, Firefighters, Phlebotomists, Paramedics, CNA's, LVN's, RDH's and Dental/Medical assistants.

   Heartsaver CPR FIrst Aid & AED: If you are not in the healthcare industry then you might want to take a Heartsaver AED or CPR course. The Heartsaver courses are designed for the lay rescuer. If you are not sure what course to take than you can call our office at (805) 458-3282

   Pediatric CPR First Aid & AED: If you are running a Daycare and need to satisfy EMSA requirements.

 

Do I have to register online?

     Yes. This is how we prevent our classes from over filling. The website will remove a class that is full.  

When do I recieve my card?

     The next business day by 6:00 p.m., although you can request to have your ecard expedited.

How long is my certification good for?

     2 years. It expires the last day of the month that you were certified.

Do I need to purchase a textbook before coming to class? No, everything is provided for you on the day of the course.

Do you cancel classes?

     In the event of their being one student, we will ask the student to move to another class date. If the student cannot move, we will still teach the class.


 

Cancellations and Refunds: Any refunds will result in a $20 (twenty-dollar) fee.  Refunds will be given if notification is received at least three (3) working days prior to class. If you do not show up or are too late for a class you will need to pay a reschedule fee of $20.00 For makeups you have 2 months to re-take another course at no extra cost. Please give us notice if you plan on re-scheduling so that we can reserve you a seat.
